He became a licensed contractor in 1984 and started Coney Landscaping soon after. Any home improvement project of $500.00 or more requires a contractor's license in the category of work done. Zach has been an active member of the California Landscape Contractors Association for 30 years and is now a Life Member. CLCA's goal is to promote professionalism and advance public awareness of the landscape industry. For more information please visit their website at clca.org
Zach keeps up with new irrigation technology to be more water efficient and be compliant with new water saving regulations coming from SB 1881. He has completed classes and is a Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor by the Irrigation Association and is an EPA Water Sense Partner. He also has certificates in Irrigation Design and Irrigation Technician.
Zach's foreman Mario Sanchez has been with the company for 16 years and is an excellent technician. He recently completed a class in irrigation troubleshooting and water management to further his knowledge and add value to our services.
When not working to add beauty to the world one garden at a time, you can find Zach skiing, fly fishing, golfing (poorly), or tending his prize-winning orchids.
